Now, in Part 1, you have already signed up with a lot of toplists. What needs to be done here is that you divert some of that traffic, by changing your incoming traffic URL to your new toplist URL for some of the toplists you signed up with. What happens now is that you have the feeder traffic to get your toplist going. Now, sign up with one new toplist - Make sure it's in your niche, and then there's two more things to be done...

• After signing up with the toplist, they give you a URL. Now what you do is, sign up with your own toplist - using the URL just given to you by the toplist. Now, when you do this, your own toplist gives you a URL. Copy this URL, go back to the toplist to which you just signed up, log into your profile, and change your URL to the one given to you by your own toplist. The net effect this whole operation ( Yes, I know - Your head's swimming - I had to take a cigarette break after doing this once ) has is that your toplist recognizes the incoming traffic from the other toplist and the other toplist recognizes the traffic which your toplist is sending it. So, the more traffic you send each other, the higher up both of you climb in each others' listings. Get the picture? This process, for those techincally inclined, is known as bootstrapping.
• Ok - I assume you're back from your cigarette break, with enough courage to repeat the process for every toplist you can find in your niche. By the time you're done, you should have a decent amount of traffic going back and forth between your toplist and a lot of others. If any toplist refuses to co-operate in this bootstrapping operation, boot it.
