This may well apply to the seasoned webmaster, but it will be probably be more interesting to those who're wondering what more they have to do to see that elusive signup. In case you're wondering, there's a heck of a lot of folks who're thinking 'Do people really pay to watch porn? And how do I get them to pay me?' Bringing in surfers to your website, showing them a preview and sending them off to a sponsor is something which most everybody manages. Qustion is, how do you make sure you get paid for your efforts? The important points? Correct traffic source, lots and lots of aforementioned correct traffic source and choosing the right sponsors. TRAFFIC SOURCE

You can't sell Pepsi to a guy who wants a Coke. If a surfer is looking for fetish, you can't sell him softcore. If you're selling Jenna Jameson, you need people who're looking for Jenna Jameson. Point is, the more you match your incoming traffic and your content, the better the results. Most free site webmasters will start off by sort of throwing darts blindfolded - Meaning that you try something and if it works out, you do more of it. If it doesn't, you scrap it. This process, while good for learning the ropes, consumes a lot of time and money and you end up with a site which doesn't have a focus on a niche. A better way would be to target a niche audience, build your content for it, and then go about searching for traffic sources for your niche. Here's an example: You build a Fetish TGP - There are three things ( I could have made it four, but it's customary to have three things to do ) you have to do:

• Deal with galleries - Submit galleries to other Fetish TGP's and get people to submit galleries to you. Make at least one new gallery every single day and use a TGP submitter, get partner accounts. Required resources - Hosting, Sponsors, Comus Thumbs, TradeZilla, Partner Accounts, Chameleon Submitter.
• Link to Other Fetish TGP's - In addition to other standard SEO practises, it'll be hugely helpful if you can link to and get linkbacks from as many Fetish Resources as possible. Dmoz and Fetbot are prime examples.
• Traffic Volume - The single most important thing to do after you've started working on steps 1 & 2 is that you have to increase the volume of traffic to your home page. This is the crucial point where a site dies or grows, depending on what you do. You'll forver be submitting galleries or, if you're a lazy bum like me, you'll end up with a few thousand visitors - unless you do this step right. This is where you change the focus from galleries and other pages to your Home or Index page. Work on it - Improve the design, change the structure, hammer the changes to your home page every single day. You have to dramatically increase the linkbacks and incoming traffic to your home page. Trade traffic, signup with toplists, do user group postings, banner exchanges, SEO. At this point, you have the content needed to keep visitors interested and the infrastructure to either send surfers to your link / trade partners and sponsors.

THE RIGHT SPONSORS

All the traffic in the world is useless, if you're sending it to the wrong sponsor. To start with, nobody is going to give you a short list of high converting sponsors - Because they don't exist. What does exist is a set of parameters which seems to govern the laws of surfers signing up - Fetish, Ebony, Teen and Solo Girl surfers seem to have a fondness for sponsors who use CCBill for billing. Examples: Fetish-Video-Cash, BadGirlbucks. Hardcore and other niche surfers seem to prefer sponsors who operate megasites - A lot of sites with regular updates and periodic new site releases ( with cascading billing ) Examples: TopBucks, BrainCash. Don't ask me why Solo Girl sites with CCBill work for me. Also, it worked for me and apparently, a few others - From conversations I've had about this, but that doesn't mean it'll work for you or that anything different you'll try won't work. Anyway, I try to make sure that my most prominent links follow this pattern. I won't even discuss sponsors shaving or non-payment.
